Jeff Kleban

Jeff Kleban is an active angel investor in early-stage companies. Before investing, Jeff co-founded Syclo, an enterprise mobility software company, in 1995. Over 17 years he built the sales, marketing and alliance organizations that led to the company’s sale to SAP in 2012.
After leaving SAP, Jeff set his sights on becoming an angel investor and advisor to early-stage entrepreneurs. He joined Hyde Park Angels in 2014. He chaired the Membership Committee through 2017 and has been an active deal lead and board member for various HPA portfolio companies. Over the past 12 years he has invested in more than 100 early-stage companies.
Jeff holds a BS in computer science from Northwestern University and an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, and spends part of the year in Chicago.
